Three years that will change your life.
Practice, theory, and more practice is the principle behind Raffles Milano’s three-year courses, a training program that structures the mind, provides a solid technical foundation, and encourages students to broaden their horizons.
Three years that will change your life.
The Fashion program at Raffles Milano brings together various disciplines—Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication and Marketing—in a single dynamic ecosystem. United by a common foundation of fundamental fashion studies, each program is enriched with specialized courses that deepen skills and creativity. This structure reflects today’s professional world, where hybrid skills and interdisciplinary thinking are essential.
Fashion today extends far beyond the design of garments. It is a complex and rapidly evolving industry where creativity, craftsmanship, culture, technology, communication, sustainability, and business awareness come together to shape contemporary lifestyles, identities, and new forms of responsible innovation.
At Raffles Milano, students are immersed in a learning environment that reflects the realities of the contemporary fashion system and prepares them to respond to the key challenges of the future. The Fashion Area is designed to develop designers and creative professionals who are not only able to create meaningful products and visual languages, but also to understand the cultural, environmental, technological, and market contexts in which fashion operates.
All students begin with a shared foundation in Fashion Design, developing the creative, technical,
cultural, and methodological skills needed to understand the contemporary fashion system.
As they progress through the programme in Fashion Design bachelor, students may continue to
deepen their Fashion Design pathway or choose to focus part of their studies through the Fashion
Communication & Marketing specialisation. This option allows students to integrate the core
Fashion Design curriculum with targeted contents and additional learning experiences, progressively
introduced from the end of the first year.
Through the study of design methodology, fashion history and culture, textiles, garment construction, styling, trend research, creative direction, business and management, digital technologies, and AI processes, students develop both technical expertise and critical vision. Particular attention is given to responsible design, sustainability, circular thinking, product innovation, digital transformation, and the ability to connect creative ideas with real market needs.
Located in Milan, one of the world’s leading fashion capitals, Raffles Milano offers students direct exposure to an international creative and professional ecosystem enriched by cross-cultural perspectives and a distinctive connection between Europe and Asia. The programme encourages students to build a personal design identity while developing the skills required by the fashion industry of the coming years: creative autonomy, technical competence, ethical awareness, digital literacy, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate within global and evolving professional scenarios.
