We are pleased to invite you to Carlo Forcolini‘s solo exhibition, “senza titolo: LIFE,” hosted at the ADI Design Museum in Milan. The exhibition traces our scientific director’s work and research, offering a look at the themes and projects that have shaped his creative path. This is a good occasion to learn more about one of Raffles’ distinctive figures.

The opening event will take place on September 3 at 6:00 PM; the exhibition will remain open to the public until September 24, 2026.

About Carlo Forcolini

Born in 1947, Carlo Forcolini graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan in 1969. Between 1978 and 1984 he lived in London, where he founded Alias U.K. and served as Director of Artemide G.B. He was a founding partner of Alias in 1979 and of Nemo in 1992, and in 1999 founded Forcolini.Lab, a creative design studio working across design and visual communication. In 2005 he co-founded OYlight. Over the course of his career he has designed for brands including Artemide, Alias, Cassina, De Padova, Luceplan, Gervasoni, Pomellato, Valenti, and Zumtobel Residential Lighting, and served as Art Director of Pomellato from 1995 to 2000. He was President of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) from 2001 to 2007, and later CEO, Vice President, and Scientific Director of the IED Group between 2009 and 2014. His work is held in the collections of the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Design Museum of the Triennale di Milano, and the ADI Compasso d’Oro Collection. He lives and works in Milan.
