Thanks to the linings provided by Brunello 1927, first-year students on the three-year Fashion Design course
experimented with the moulage technique during their
pattern making 1 course.
The recovery of these linings led to the creation of garments draped directly on the
mannequin. Without any reference sketches, the students were guided by the
characteristics of the fabric and their own style, working like true couturiers. The dresses are
entirely hand-sewn.
