Starting from the principles of sustainability, expressed in the reuse of existing materials with the aim of reducing their environmental impact, students were invited by the company Alza Globo to design an everyday object starting from an “industrial waste product,” a simple aluminum disc. Here are the results of the first semester’s work, where students had the opportunity to work closely with the company and study different types of processing, capable of transforming that simple “waste” into something new.
