Three years that will change your life.
The Visual Design and Graphic Area at Raffles Milano unites visual culture, design thinking, and communication strategy. Whether students choose Visual & Graphic Design or Communication Design and Management, they share a common foundation of essential design studies and critical tools. This integrated approach reflects the contemporary creative industries, where visual identity, branding, and storytelling work hand in hand.
Studying design means learning how to shape the visual world we live in—from typography and digital interfaces to brand systems and cultural messaging. At Raffles Milano, students develop visual intelligence and conceptual depth in a hybrid environment that values both creativity and method. The ability to think across disciplines and apply design in different contexts is what sets tomorrow’s professionals apart.
Two pathways, one shared vision. The Visual Design area is structured around two educational paths:
Visual & Graphic Design:Â for those who want to master visual language, layout, and design tools to build strong, compelling visual communication.
Communication Design and Management:Â for those who aim to lead creative projects and shape strategies where design and marketing converge.
Each path is rooted in common design foundations and then branches into specialized content to build distinct professional expertise.
An accredited degree and a specialized certificate
All students in the Visual Area graduate with a Diploma Accademico di Primo Livello in Visual Design, a degree officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education (AFAM/MUR). In addition, each student receives a Raffles Certificate in their chosen path — Visual & Graphic Design or Communication Design and Management — demonstrating their individual specialization and preparation for a competitive creative industry.
