Inside the World of Italian Tailoring: A Hands-On Learning Experience for Our Fashion Students

on 2nd of February our Fashion students had the unique opportunity to step into the world of true Italian tailoring — an experience that brought craftsmanship, tradition, and design excellence to life.

During a special visit to Prata & Mastrale, generously hosted by renowned designer Aldo Invitti, students explored the meticulous process behind high-end Italian suits. From selecting the finest fabrics to understanding the importance of precise measurements and refined finishing details, they discovered how each stage contributes to creating a garment of exceptional quality.

The most memorable moment of the visit was the chance to engage directly in the suit-making process. By observing techniques up close and participating hands-on, students gained valuable insight into the dedication and skill required in sartorial craftsmanship.
