The course allows for the development of craft tailoring techniques with the creation on canvas samples of slits, pleats, different types of pockets and zippers.
Students will individually make, on their own measurements, the test cloths of a pant, study the different techniques of fitting and correcting paper patterns to make the pant in fabric with all the classic elements (mock up, pockets, loops, strap).
The workshop course will consist of: Zipper fitting and making on canvas samples, slits , pleats, pockets, making tailored pants from the line of your choice (wide or dry)and also paper pattern detection, fitting to your own measurements, test canvas cutting, test canvas making, fitting, pattern correction, fabric cutting, garment making and ironing techniques.
