Born and raised in Milan, where she studied Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communication, Monica Ciabattini is Co-Founder of the fashion house Le Silla. As Creative Director, Monica expresses an innovative vision of luxury footwear. With a strategic and forward-thinking vision, Monica contributes to convey a strong and reliable brand image as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Communication Officer (CCO), overseeing and supervising all communication and marketing activities of the maison. In addition, motivated by a desire to enhance good environmental and social practices, which translate into a commitment to reducing the company's environmental impact and a desire to contribute to the social fabric and the territory in which the company operates by fostering attention to working conditions, gender equality, and the rejection of all forms of discrimination, Monica serves as Environmental Social Governance manager.Â
La formazione del designer del gioiello e dell’accessorio prevede una solida preparazione tecnica e progettuale nella ricerca e nell’analisi interpretativa del contesto sociale e simbolico della committenza. Nel primo anno in cui vengono affrontati elementi propedeutici di inquadramento generale quali forme, materiali, processi di produzione, fattori sociali e di costume che sono alla base della creazione di moda, in parallelo a una intensa attività di laboratorio improntata al learning by doing. Nel secondo anno, l’ulteriore approfondimento della cultura del settore e l’acquisizione di capacità di rappresentazione con la modellazione digitale 3D permettono allo studente di accedere al terzo anno per sviluppare una propria qualità stilistica e progettuale completata dalle necessarie abilità rappresentative con i rendering 3D e le conoscenze di economia e di marketing. L’elaborazione del progetto e della tesi finale sono la conclusione finale di questo percorso di studi.
