Raffles Milano

and Lime

collaboration

At Raffles Milano, creativity thrives where ideas meet real-world challenges. This spirit comes to life in 72 Hours, the school’s signature design sprint where students have just three days to respond to a live brief from an industry partner. The challenge pushes them to think fast, collaborate across disciplines, and turn bold concepts into concrete proposals — mirroring the pace and demands of the professional world. For this 72 Hours Design Challenge, Raffles Milano students from across disciplines joined forces with Lime, the world’s leading shared electric vehicle company, to explore a bold question: What does sustainable urban mobility look like for the future? Together, they unveiled “Designing Urban Sustainability” — a limited-edition collection of Lime vehicles reimagined by Raffles Milano students for Milan Design Week 2025. In only 72 hours, teams combined design thinking, sustainability awareness, and technological vision to propose innovative ways of moving through the city. The results celebrated Lime’s core values of sustainability, innovation, and teamwork, showcasing how young designers can help shape more responsible and connected urban environments.
