In just 72 hours, Raffles Milano students transformed creativity into strategy. During the 72 Hours Creative Marathon, our design students collaborated with Vicario Armando, a leading Italian brand known for its craftsmanship and innovation in kitchen and bathroom fittings. The challenge was to develop a fresh communication strategy that could connect with two different audiences: industry professionals, focusing on quality, innovation, and functionality, and end consumers, highlighting design, sustainability, and ease of use. Through intense teamwork, research, and trend analysis, students explored how design thinking can shape real business decisions. Their work repositioned Armando Vicario as a modern symbol of Italian excellence—a brand that blends heritage with forward-looking innovation. The outcome was a refined yet accessible communication strategy about the company’s identity, proof of what can happen when education meets real-world practice. This experience gave students the opportunity to apply strategic design principles in a professional context, bridging creativity, communication, and business insight.
