"Hi!", the lamp designed by Luna Silingardi, our three-year Product Design student, has been produced and is currently out for sale by the Italian company @Sikrea. The lamp was born from the idea of representing an emotion: insecurity. When the light is turned inward, it emits a soft but at the same time emotional, mysterious and very intimate light, while the metal glass becomes transparent. On the other hand, when the light is turned outward, it becomes intense and relational, illuminating what is around and making the glass appear almost like a mirror, reflecting others. After concluding the three-year course at Raffles Luna is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Visual Design & Communication to further deepen her skills in the field of design and communication.
