Sergio Salerni has an important background in making advertising videos for a variety of sectors, building on this experience to make his mark on the scene of fashion and global luxury as a director and visionary creative. He took his first steps as long ago as 1985, when he founded the video production company Videogang in Milan, which is now flanked by Urban Production, a multitasking structure that carries out events and projects worldwide related to the fashion scene in Milan, Paris and the new capitals of luxury, such as Shanghai, Beijing, Dubai, New York and Hong Kong. In the course of his career, he has directed runway shows for Versace, Valentino and Gianfranco Ferré and his reportage videos have travelled the world. What has enabled him to achieve these milestones is a unique blend of charisma, professional skills, a focus on the component of dream and imagination… and a pinch of creative folly. The New York Times once described him as “the wizard behind Versace”. He has conceived projects for many leading brands, including Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Diesel and CP Company, as well as several up-and-coming stylists. He is the Italian partner of the worldwide Fashion TV channel.
