After spending a considerable amount of time building up useful experience in branding with Wolff Olins in London, where he spent 15 years and more, Angelo Ferrara took over responsibility for strategic and creative management in the Corporate Branding area at Robilant Associates, where he became a partner in 2012. He has a rare talent for crystallising design and strategy, which has led him to develop and manage branding projects for such clients as Alitalia, FCA, Italcementi Group, Ferrari Trento, Expo 2015, Mondadori, Indesit, Ariston, Edison, Luxottica, SunGlass Hut and Shiseido. He represented Italy at Mediterranean European Design 1994 with a brand documentary promoting tourism on the Portuguese island of Madeira and won the Best Promotional Video Awards for four years running. He has worked with several universities and schools, including the IED in Milan, the ISCTE Business School in Lisbon and the British Higher School of Art & Design in Moscow. Now heading up the Corporate Social Responsibility activities at Robilant Associates, he is also responsible for the pro-bono projects that the partnership runs every year as an integral part of its activities.
